Ed Rossy

Ed has over 10 years of experience in the information technology field. In addition to currently supporting the voice and data communications infrastructure and consultants in the field, Ed has developed customized web based solutions for our clients. These solutions contribute directly to aid our clients in making informed strategic decisions and developing long term relationships with suppliers. Some of these web based solutions entail suppliers’ prequalification, presentation registrations, web casts, qualitative surveys and reporting.

Ed worked as an IT consultant for WorkNet where he gained tremendous experience and knowledge with Microsoft, Cisco, SUN, Novell & Checkpoint products and technologies. He then went on to work for Gibson & Associates. As the hands-on Network Manager, he upgraded the local and wide area networking infrastructure to support web hosting, virtual private networking, bandwidth optimization and video conferencing. After leaving Gibson and Associates, Ed managed and maintained the network infrastructure for Madden Communications. He was the lead network and server engineer at Madden in which much of his time was spent performing a variety of network and server security upgrades for the company's five locations.

Ed graduated in 1992 from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Actuarial Science. At university he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and a member of the school’s Big East Championship Baseball team. After graduating, Ed went on to play professional baseball in Australia for three years before returning to Atlanta, Georgia to get his Masters degree in Information Technology from American InterContinental University. Ed currently holds certifications with Microsoft (MCSE+Internet, MCP), Cisco (CCNA), Checkpoint (CCSA, CCSE) and Citrix (CCA).
